Tripp Lite’s Charging Station Towers Save Space in Crowded Classrooms and Offices

Charge, Secure and Organize up to 20 Chromebooks and Tablets

Chicago, IL (October 29, 2019)—Tripp Lite, a global manufacturer of power protection and connectivity solutions, has a new space-saving solution for charging and securely storing up to 16 or 20 Chromebooks or tablets: AC charging station towers.

Occupying less floor space than many charging carts, Tripp Lite’s new CST-series AC charging station towers provide a practical way to charge multiple devices in crowded classrooms and offices. The towers rest on the floor and attach to a wall with the included keyhole mounting brackets and user-supplied hardware.

An open frame makes it easy to see whether devices are in the tower without unlocking and opening the front door. Strategically placed vertical bars prevent removal of devices from the sides of the tower. The power adapters for the devices plug into the included power strip in the rear compartment. Once the tower is mounted against a wall, the outlets and power adapters are accessible only through the top key-locking panel.

For greater deployment flexibility, the towers can be converted into mobile carts with optional caster kits.
