Keep Your Workplace Quiet with Tripp Lite’s New Quiet Server Racks
Chicago, IL (May 31, 2018)—Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity solutions, has introduced a new selection of quiet server racks that secure and organize standard rack equipment in IT networking areas where sound needs to be reduced.
Tripp Lite’s quiet server racks are specifically designed to provide a calmer work environment by minimizing external acoustic levels caused by network equipment. Special foam sound-dampening baffles are built into the front and rear doors and side panels to reduce acoustic levels by as much as 28 decibels. They’re ideal for small offices, recording studios, retail applications, classrooms and other areas where you need equipment to be secure, organized and quiet. The server racks are designed to blend in and take up as little space as possible, making them perfect for areas with limited space.
All of Tripp Lite’s quiet server racks feature a unique airflow design that maximizes cooling by drawing it through the bottom or front door intake, passing it horizontally through the enclosure, and using fans to push warm air out through the side panels or rear door. Convenient top and bottom cable brush strips allow easy cable routing through the cabinet while keeping dust and debris out.
“A quiet workplace is important, but so is keeping equipment safe and secure,” said Craig Watkins, Tripp Lite’s Director of Product Marketing for Racks and Cooling. “All our server racks have front and rear doors that lock securely, and our quiet model also offers locking side panels. All these racks are compliant with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).”
