Locking C13 Connector Provides a Strong Hold to Keep Equipment Powered
Chicago, IL (October 23, 2018)—Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity solutions, has expanded its line of hospital-grade power cords to include locking cords that resist accidental disconnection.
The new cords have a locking C13 end that connects to the C14 power inlet on computers, scanners, lab equipment, mobile carts and other hospital equipment outside the patient care vicinity. The locking feature provides a strong hold to prevent the cord from coming loose due to vibrations or unintentional pulling. Both slide buttons must be retracted to release the connector. The locking connector ensures equipment stays powered, preventing the expense and inconvenience of unplanned downtime.
The input end of the cord has a hospital-grade NEMA 5-15P HG plug for connection to a grounded hospital-grade AC outlet.
